The ProSeries Rescue Stretcher is a complete re-thinking of the classic Stokes military style stretchers.
The top rail is a full one-inch diameter to make the stretcher easier to handle when carried for extended periods, and it has been reinforced with double tubing at the head and foot ends for extra strength during vertical raises and lowers.
The “chicken wire” has been replaced with a Durathene netting which won't rust thus eliminating the cuts and scrapes caused by broken wires and is much easier clean.
The back support is molded High Density Polyethylene for greater durability and ease of cleaning.
The steep sided design allows for a narrower overall width to the stretcher while allowing the width at the bed, to accept a standard 16” tapered, sized backboards.
The narrow width and rounded ends provide greater maneuverability.
The Split-Apart stretcher design is based on a concept that was developed and proven by a leading rescue organization.
The stretcher “hinges” together at the bottom, and is then secured by threaded collets on the top rail.
This design is quick and easy to assemble or take apart, it eliminates the problems associated with inserting one tube into another, as well as with having to place pins.

Traverse Bugaboo Stretcher

Named after the rugged British Columbia mountain range it was designed to excel in, the Bugaboo has major features that set it apart from all other stretchers.
The secondary rail, set close to the bottom of the stretcher, allows the rescuer to secure the patient utilizing an almost unlimited number of tie-in positions.
Comes standard with four rescue-rated straps that are strong enough to aid in your tie-in system, and the bottom of the stretcher is flat, allowing for the greatest comfort possible to the patient.
The Bugaboo has an 18 inch wide clearance on the inside, allowing room for even some of the widest backboards.
The top tube is 7/8 inch material, giving excellent comfort and gripping ability, and the standard patented StratLoad™ Attachment points allow for solid and fast clip-ins for your rigging.
The struts are completely round, allowing you to tie in or easily clip your carabiners to for vertical raise and lower operations.
Available as a split-apart stretcher only, our connection system was developed in Yosemite , and over the years we have worked hard at improving on the original concept.
LocSaf ™ Upper Connector allows visual inspection to see that the Collet is safely turned all the way on, and more importantly, locking the Collet in place so it is not allowed to back off when scraped against a wall etc. while being raised or lowered.
Composite shells are also specially constructed utilizing a “Light RTM” (resin transfer mold) method which ensures highly accurate resin-saturation as well as resin-to-fiber ratios.
The Traverse Rescue Stretcher (TRS) has been designed and constructed for both horizontal and vertical casualty evacuations.
The lightweight and compact roll-up design makes this stretcher ideal for high angle and confined space rescue, as well as backcountry wilderness and helicopter operations.
The wrap-around concept gives the patient a feeling of security and protects arms and sides from further injury during evacuation procedures.
The stretcher is constructed using an inner layer made from a tough high density polyethylene sheet, which give the stretcher it’s rigidity when curved around the patient.
The outer fabric shell is made using two different materials. The base fabric is a 1350 Denier Cordura nylon with a heavy PU coating, which has been specially woven to be as tough as possible to resist abrasion and cuts. The top layer is 1000 Denier Cordura making a tough but comfortable layer for the patient to lay on.
The carry handles and vertical lift attachment points are construct from 2” web and are designed as structural attachment points for a lifting bridle.
The plastic tubing on the carry handle makes for a much more comfortable carry for rescuers.
The built-in color-coded full body adjustable harness restrains the patient securely in the stretcher so there is no need to fold over the head and foot end of the stretcher, which can cause discomfort to the patient.
Padded straps in the shoulder and groin areas make for a comfortable fit, while the foot strap stops the patient from sliding down during vertical lifts.
The six outer 2 “web restraint straps further secure the patient into the stretcher by wrapping the stretcher around the patient’s body using a twobar, thee-bar steel buckle system, which is easy and quick to work with even with glove on.
The stretcher comes with a cordura storage bag with backpack shoulder straps.
