The Rock Exotica rockGrab MIL is a specialized rope grab designed for professionals in arboriculture, rope access, and rescue operations who require efficient and reliable mid-line installation. Building upon the established performance of the Rock Exotica RG2, the MIL version distinguishes itself with a unique removable push-pin axle. This allows for easy attachment and removal of the device at any point along the rope, eliminating the need to thread the rope through the grab from the end. The push-pin is secured with a tethered nylon cord, preventing accidental loss during use.

Constructed with a focus on minimizing weight without sacrificing durability, the rockGrab MIL features a milled body, removing unnecessary material while maintaining structural integrity. The device is compatible with a range of rope diameters, accommodating 8mm to 13mm ropes and is certified to meet stringent safety standards, including EN 12841 and EN 567, depending on the rope diameter used.

The stainless steel cable, a critical component, is user-replaceable with the readily available RockGrab Repair Kit, ensuring continued reliable performance and extending the lifespan of the product.

Rope Size: Use with EN 1891 low-stretch kernmantel rope. Certification tested with 10.5mm Teufelberger Ultrastatic and 13mm Yale XTC.

• For EN 12841: 2006/B, use 10.5mm to 13mm diameter rope, max 100kg.
• For EN 567: 2013, use 8mm to 13mm diameter rope.
